Some Tips on Deer hunting

Below are some deer hunting tips that will help you land the right kill:

  • If you are not already familiar with the hunting area, familiarize yourself by getting a local map or scouting the grounds. Try to find a place that’s not been used by many other hunters.

  • You have best chance of making a kill if you start early in the morning. Camp in the hunting ground if possible. This way you can beat late rising hunters.

  • Don’t be afraid of extreme weather conditions like extreme hot day or rainy day. There is usually very low competition on these days

  • Know your weapon like the back of your hand. Whether you are deer hunting with a bow, shotgun, or rifle, it pays for you to handle your weapon like second nature. Practice shooting as often as possible to build up your confidence in facing down that trophy buck from any angle that may present itself.

  • Knowing your weapon and ability to use it precisely will always set you apart. Make sure you are familiar with the workings for your weapon. If you haven’t used the weapon for long time, make sure you practice before heading out.
